Manchester-based fence supplying company, Wire Fence is offering 100% of their profits made on the 4th October to an animal charity or rescue center in order to celebrate World Animal Day.
The aim of World Animal Day is to unite global movements for the welfare and protection of animals. To mark this occasion, several campaigns are launched around the event in order to promote the ethical treatment of animals and the protection of endangered species. By taking part in this event, Wire Fence aims to pledge their support to protecting animal rights by helping an animal charity.
Since there is a cat overpopulation crisis in the UK, cats are one of the most affected species of animal cruelty and homelessness. In the UK alone, over a hundred thousand cats are being helped by animal charities every year.
Wire Fence are currently open for applications from charities, and any UK based not for profit organisation supporting the welfare of animals including cats is welcome to enter the competition.
The application process involves the following steps:
- Go to their Facebook page
- Find their post about this event
- Share the post publicly
- Collect as many likes as you can on your shared post until the 4th of October.
The donation will be sent to the organisation who gets the most likes on Facebook until the 4th October. The winner will be announced on the 6th of October.
Wire Fence is dedicated to helping those in need. They decided to support a different organisation each month by organising a fundraising event.
