Hi everyone,
A while back we went for a second visit to the Edinburgh cat cafe. 🙂
And this time I remembered to bring my actual camera equipment. 😀
What always strikes me most about this cafe is how tranquil the atmosphere is and of course, there are plenty of relaxed cats!
One of the most outstanding features of this cat cafe is the many different places along the walls that truly provide the cats with a 3 Dimensional Environment. Not just does this give them more space but it also means that if they wish to be away from us humans they can do so!
As I came during my lunch break from a work visit many of the kitties were resting during my visit but when again sleeping cats are even cuter!! 🙂
Some of my favourite shots below:
There were also a few new things in the cat cafe!
What I was most impressed with was this natural cat tree made by a local craftsman!
This sure gives even indoor cats a nice tree climbing experience no? 🙂
I couldn’t resist taking a close up of the Charley and Billie cat scratcher! I do think they are one of the best scratchers out there! 😀
Of course, you can cuddle the cats in this cafe and many like the one below really enjoy this!
This time around I even had some space left in my tummy to try out their cakes!! And I have to say it was amazing! 😀 I already knew that their staff was very nice and made you feel at home but the cake made this experience even better.
Homemade and with just the right level of sweetness. 🙂
Of course, for those of you that are looking for a souvenir to take home, there are plenty to choose from!
Recognised the mousey? Oli and Nubia have a couple of those. 🙂
That’s it for today but…
… there will be another special feature for Sebastian! We got some especially cute shots of him. 😀
If you are going to Edinburgh I would highly recommend taking the time to spend an hour to relax and recover in Maison de Moggy who are located not too far from Waverly or Haymarket station. The address is 17 – 19 West Port, Edinburgh EH1 2JA
To find out more about Maison de Moggy visit their website or Facebook page. Already made up your mind? You can book a slot here!
I’ll be back soon to show you more. 🙂
Thanks,
Marc
I’ve been contemplating a trip to Edinburgh. Now I have a reason to visit (in addition to the other 1,000,002).
You should! It’s a beautiful city. 🙂
Wow! What an impressive place! Those kiddos look so peaceful and right at home. I am in awe of the craftsmanship and creativity they used! As you mentioned, that tree cat tree is stunning! Seeing these photos does my heart so much good. God bless them all for loving these cats so much! ❤ And thank you for sharing them with us all!
I love the beds they have for the cats! Very creative.
Yes that was one of our favourites there 🙂
