Hi everyone,
It’s both us together in the same photo for a change! Now how did our humans manage to do that? đŸ˜‰
Rennie: Anyway we are here to show you some fabulous new collars today. đŸ˜€
Freya: As many of you probably know we don’t normally wear collas due to the fact that we are indoors only but of course there is always time for a cat fashion show!
Rennie: But first… we shall need the help of our humans to open them! See Noggins & Binkles sent them to us in a nice little gift wrapping. đŸ™‚
Rennie: Whhy do you keep following me around Freya…
Freya: You seem to have a toy…
Rennie: What toy?!?
Freya: I can hear a bell toy!
Rennie: Uhm… sister have you actually worn a collar before? That little bell means people can hear us as we can’t sneak up on them so easily!
Freya: Looks it’s my turn to look pretty. đŸ˜€
Freya: Does this mean I can go outside now?!?
Rennie: Something tells me that you’ll need to be a bit more street wise… ;o
Rennie: Of course a collar is not just about looking fashionable. Even though you all have to admit that we look very pretty right?!?
Freya: But who are the people behind our new collars? Well they have quite a story to tell!
About Noggins and Binkles:
Noggins and Binkles is a luxury and ethical cat, dog and human accessories brand named after two rescue cats, Mr Noggins (who turned out to be a girl) from the Seychelles and Mr Binkles (who is actually a boy) from Mauritius. Our founder, Rose, lived in the Indian Ocean for over seven years and during that time made many accessories for Noggins and Binkles because the quality and aesthetic that was desired was not available locally. There were indeed many searches for the illusive breakaway cat collar or washable bed. In 2018 Rose moved back to London with the cats and Noggins and Binkles was founded to continue making beautifully designed and ethically made cat, dog and human accessories. Only the highest quality materials are used including luxurious fabrics, vegan alternatives to leather, solid brass hardware and everything is handmade in our London studio.

Rennie: So what do we think about these cat collars? We think they are pawesome! These are much better than leather collars as NONE of our other animal friends had to suffer in the production of these vegan collars!
Rennie: And I have to say that they fit very nicely! And according to my pet human the breakaway clip is just right meaning those of us going outside will only loose the collar when they really need to making it purrfect to be used with cat GPSÂ trackers to keep an eye on us!
Freya: Go check out their website and you’ll find that they also do vegan collars for dogs AND vegan cat toys!!!

They look quite snazzy!
My styling little buddies ??
Very nice.
Hey, I never did receive the cat food samples.
Rennie and Freya, those collars are fabulous! And we love that they are vegan AND breakaway. Really, really cool!
Would you like a bell around your neck 24/7? Neither do cats! It brings on stress and anxiety to have constant ringing every time they move, but they can’t tell you. )~:. Also their hearing is very magnified compared to humans which makes the ringing louder to them than what we hear and it is so close to their ears. Common sense… Please do not include bells on the collars. They are perhaps a pretty addition for humans, but very uncomfortable for our feline friends. ringing, ringing, ringing at every move…
Thank you for your attention.
Hi Leah,
Actually, the small bells on cat collars do not harm the cats hearing or cause them suffering. You are right that in an ideal world they wouldn’t have to wear a collar, however in many areas it does help to hear cats that could be harmed by accident such cyclists and also it does reduce the amount of wildlife that they kill which of course our house cats don’t actually need to as we feed them.
I listened to a talk from International Cat Care on this topic and you can also find their advice on this matter here: https://icatcare.org/advice/how-guides/how-stop-your-cat-hunting
Of course if you prefer to use the collar without bell you can take the bell off at any time.
They are very beautiful kitties!
Thank you :D. And I love that they went for vegan collars in these.
