Hi everyone,
Please find below the latest entry in Purrsday Poetry by Simon Banks:
CULTURE SHOCK
Emma the cat is serious
She has her ways
(So do I)
She came miaowing to me; under the bed she went
where she scrabbled and rushed around.
I bent down and looked her in the eye
I said, “Hello, puss-cat – what are you up to?
In reply, this dextrous cat
threw a rat in my face.

Much better than leaving it where it was!
Well, raising kids you learn to never ask a question you don’t already know the answer to !
Emma has a sense of humor ?
LOL! Mine usually throw birds at me. But I’ve had the occasional mouse on my desk. 🙂
Aww/ I have an Emma too. She’s more silly than serious though. 😉
Soon! Soon I hope to have a cheeky naughty cat like yours. Cheers,H

If there’s a text-only version, I might enjoy following this blog. I see a mess of graphic garbage flying all over the place. I clicked on this link to read a poem, but I’m not seeing poem; I’m seeing ads and graphics and ribbons and notifications and everything *but* poem. Web sites I like display one sentence following another sentence in some sort of logical order.
Hi Priscilla,
Thanks for your feedback. Our publication is setup as an onlime magazine so is quite image heavy. However when you get to this article directly you should see a feature image followed by the poem.
Also I am a little concerned that you are saying that there are ads as looking at your geo location data you should be coming from a location that doesn’t currently have any ads served.
Could you confirm if you are visiting via an app such as WordPress or if you are visiting the page directly so I can confirm this?
Thanks,
Marc
