My Cats’ Chorus…
Feed me fish and feed me meat,
All my plate fulfil —
You have made my meals complete,
And you always will.
Stroke me gently, feel my fur,
Please don’t go away.
You hear my love when you hear my purr —
I will never stray.
See my tail up,feel me knead,
Touch my nose with yours —
For my human, I love you,
From your head down to your paws.
Groom me soft and I’ll groom you,
I’ll sleep upon your bed,
Prevent you getting up on time,
Resting by your head.
Dig a hole, and when I’ve died,
Cover me with clay.
My heart will never leave your side —
I’ll never go away.
See my tail up, feel me knead,
Touch my nose with yours —
For my human, I love you,
From your head down to your paws.
Another cat will come in time,
Taking care of you.
I won’t regret, for you’re always mine,
With love enough for two.
Meanwhile, while we Iive together,
Let me just say this:
I can’t conceive it’s not for ever,
And I feel it’s bliss.
So, see my tail up, feel me knead,
Touch my nose with yours —
For my human, I love you,
From your head down to your paws.

a heartfelt poem =^^=
My Siamese died two days ago. The pain so intense. I cry sometimes. I hate this. R.I.P. Lacey!
I’m so so sorry.
Thank you.
Beautiful words.
My girl Chelsea is almost 20, she’s my BFF. This poem reminds me of her!

I miss my George so much. He said goodbye in June and I miss him so much I can’t breathe when I think of my beloved boy
Oh my heart…. I have tears in my eyes, how you captured the beautiful, unconditional love between cat and their person

the britchy one,
I, too, had a cat named George who also passed away. There is never a day I don’t think of him.
