Street Cats Winner – Jonas Chan

“I took this photograph as I passed by an alley in an old residential area in Hong Kong. When I squatted down and tried to take a picture, she walked towards me and kept meowing, allowing me to capture this moment with my camera.”

The judges loved this ginger cat’s street swagger and confidence. They also loved the positioning of the camera which allows us to engage with the cat.

Jonas’ winning image features in the 2018 Street Cats Calendar which will be sold to raise funds for International Cat Care’s cat welfare work.
