Cat Naps Winners – The story of ‘Peaceful’

“This is a photograph of a stray cat I took last December while travelling in Taiwan. It was raining heavily and this cat was sleeping next to an old Taiwanese house. I just took the shot. When I checked the image on my camera I felt something – I felt peaceful. Although it is a stray cat it has its own right to a safe place to just take a nap.”

The judges loved the peacefulness of the image too – the position of the cat with the beautiful blue in the background.
