What a good idea! I’m not sure Bluebell would let me do her teeth! I suspect it should be started at an early age, like Mom did for you! Darling Angel you are so sweet. Xx
I think she can still learn now.
My two would NEVER let me do that – not even for treats afterwards (which would counter the effect of the tooth-brush anyway). I give them kibble they indeed have to chew (BIG kibble) and since then the doctors at the vet clinic did not complain anymore.
That’s wonderful! My treat is to have play time with mom.

Our cat would have brushed her teeth on my skin and bones the way her ancestors did!
He he! it just takes patients and time for the cat to get use to it or you can take them to the vet and the can clean them for you.
Great idea! I gave up trying to brush my guys’ teeth for just that reason — toothbrush too big.

If only my cat would let me brush her teeth! I worry about getting her teeth professionally cleaned, since the vet has to use anesthesia, so I’ve taken to rubbing a small piece of paper towel over her teeth once or twice a week hoping it will help.
They get use to the brushing it’s very important. I think since you have wiped with a paper towels you can brush there teeth.
