Can I talk to you about Spring? It is getting so close to spring I just don’t know what to do with myself. I remember the warm sun on the stones that I would roll on. I remember catching flies. But I think I am forgetting some things about spring.
I’m not sure if leaves fall from the trees in spring or not, but I remember spring flowers.
I really do remember the way the flowers smell. They smell so sweet and fresh. These things I remember make me so excited that I can hardly wait for spring to get here!
I also remember being outside playing peek a boo with mom through the fence and I really want to be able to do this again. Why is spring not here yet? The snow is melting, the birds are singing and mom lets me play out in the yard. I just don’t understand why I still have to wait…
I want to feel the sunshine on my face and run around the chair outside playing hide n seek all day. Well, except during my afternoon nap of course……
I just want to be able to stand tall outside without me sinking in the snow and say, “Hello Sunshine!”
I guess what I’m trying to say is I Miss you Spring and could you hurry up so I can get outside and play!

Well, its still winter, but just exactly as it was last year, its 110 degrees in Southern CA every day again. Summer is now extremely blazing hot and its NOW 365 days a year. We have no more rain, winter or spring. Just every day we need AC in the winter and its miserably HOT. BE GLAD you don’t live here. The extreme record breaking heat is killing people and animals every day. It never ends.
I wish WE could have a real spring. It used to be a wonderful COOL time of the year. But when its HOT all winter, it does not bode well. And the animals do NOT understand WHY it never cools down EVER. So anyone with seasons? Enjoy them. You don’t know how lucky you are.
